Best Baby Apps for New Parents

Becoming a new parent can be a challenging experience. There are new routines, bouts of crying, and sleepless nights to contend with, and that’s before we even think about how the baby is doing! Here are some of the best baby apps for new parents available to steer you through this difficult, although joyous time, and keep parenthood as stress-free and worry-free as possible.

3 Baby Apps for New Parents

Baby Connect

Baby Connect is an app that helps you keep track of baby’s progress. It records feeding, diaper changes, milestones, appointments, and everything that you need to keep on top of your baby’s schedule. If you are leaving your baby with a caregiver, it enables you to share information and be alerted should the need arise. It enables you to track activities, baby’s mood, and moreover the course of the day.

Sound Sleeper

Baby apps for new parents often target specific purposes such as sleeping. Sound Sleeper is an app that offers a wide range of soothing sounds to help your baby sleep. This app can double as a baby monitor and it enables you to track sleep patterns. With this insight, you can understand and plan your day and nights more effectively.

Baby’s First

Baby’sFirst is a free app that helps you create a lovely record of all his or her developmental milestones. Although we all take photos all the time, this simple app collects your photos, adds prompts, and milestone checklists. When you are caught up in the early days of parenthood, it is easy to let these important days pass by. Baby apps for new parents often focus on the problems of parenthood, and we like this one because it focuses on joy.

Although baby apps for new parents can be useful, obviously nothing replaces hands-on care. If your baby has trouble sleeping, an app may be helpful, but a soothing bath before bedtime and some skincare products on sensitive areas will make your baby more comfortable and sleepier.

Essential Baby Products

Natural organic soaps and skincare will help your baby’s delicate skin, which can become uncomfortable – especially around the diaper area. Try Ora’s Amazing Herbal range of baby products. One we particularly like is Ora’s Amazing Herbal’s Baby Salve, which is designed for tiny tushies, rolls, and folds.

Earth Mother OrganicsDiaper Balm is a soothing calendula balm that keeps your baby’s bottom chubby soft and cheerful and is a slightly less expensive option. Also, try Weleda’s Baby Calendula Body Cream.

When it comes to parenthood, baby apps for new parents can provide some great support. However, when it comes to hands-on care, your baby deserves the best natural products that will not irritate delicate skin. Making this part of your daily or nightly routine is the best way to ensure that your baby thrives and is happy, and hopefully, you will be able to sleep at night too.

Recover Recently Deleted Apps

Sometimes apps get deleted by accident, and sometimes we decide to delete an app intentionally because we have stopped using it or for some other reason (such as spending too much time on a game and becoming frustrated or bored). Quite often we regret it afterwards and want the app back.  So, can you recover recently deleted apps without having to go through the rigmarole of reinstalling the app or paying for it all over again? Yes, you can! Keep reading to learn how.

How to Recover Recently Deleted Apps on These Common Devices

iPhone, iPod, or iPad

If you have an Apple iPhone, iPod, or iPad you can restore the deleted app via the phone’s App Store. Sign into the App Store and click on Updates at the foot of the screen. Click on the Purchased option, and there you will see all the Apps you have purchased which are linked to your account. Find the one you wish to reinstall, click on the download option, and the app will be reinstalled on your device. There you have it!

iTunes

You can also recover recently deleted apps via Apple iTunes in much the same way. Sign into your iTunes account, click on the Apps setting where you will see all the apps you have downloaded or paid for and click Install.

You can recover recently deleted apps via iTunes or the App Store and in most cases the App will be re-uploaded without any loss of information. So, whether it is WhatsApp or Candy Crush, you should be able to continue just where you left off when the app was deleted (and re discover just why you deleted it in the first place!)

Android

For Android users, the process is much the same. Go to the Google Play store homepage and tap on the icon with three lines that sits next to the search box. From this you should see a range of options including My Apps and Games. Tap on this and you will see three choices: Updates, Installed, and Library.  Choose the Library option and this will give you the complete list of apps you have downloaded but have since deleted. To recover recently deleted apps, just click on the Install button, and the app will be reinstalled onto your device.

It is easy to find the most recently deleted Apps, because they are stored in the Library section in chronological order meaning that the most recently deleted Apps sit at the top of the list where they can be easily accessed.

We all occasionally clear our phones and then regret deleting apps.  However, this doesn’t necessarily mean you have lost the App or need to repurchase it. One of the great things about buying digital material such as apps or eBooks is that if you delete them and then decide to get them back, it is very easy to recover recently deleted apps (and apps that were deleted longer ago) without too much hassle.

Must-Have Telecommunication Apps

Telecommunication apps have transformed the way we communicate on our phones. It is hard to believe that a couple of decades ago, the only options for communication were to dial a number and speak or to send a text message. These days you have a much wider choice of communication methods that work via your phone but do not actually cost you anything for the calls.

4 Popular Telecommunication Apps

WhatsApp

One of the most popular telecommunication apps is WhatsApp. Operated by Facebook, WhatsApp only works through the mobile phone network but enables you to make free voice calls, video calls, and text messages. With over 300 million daily active users worldwide, WhatsApp is certainly popular – especially in European countries. This is a must-have telecommunications app for everyone. It is not just because it works so well (although it does). The simple reason is that everybody uses it, so if you want to connect with many people you know, you need this app.

Skype

When it comes to telecommunications apps, Skype also takes some beating. Skype was the market leader for years and is still a popular method of communication. Numbers have dropped off in recent years but there are still an estimated 1.33 million people using it. Skype can be used for free voice / video calls and messaging. Although it is not as popular now as it was several years ago, plenty of business still operate via Skype. It has also been very useful in keeping families across the world together, many who still use Skype for this reason alone.

FaceTime

FaceTime only operates on iOS phones, so is only suitable if you have an Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. FaceTime works extremely well, since the app is built into iOS, you don’t have to bother to download it. According to Bloomberg Businessweek, 40 million Facetime messages and calls are sent each day, and new technology on the platform is making it easier to group chat. OK, it doesn’t work on android phones or tablets, but if you do have Apple products, this telecommunication app is easy to use.

Facebook Messenger

Facebook Messenger is linked to Facebook, naturally, but you don’t have to be an active Facebook user to use Facebook Messenger. This app can function as an instant messenger, and you can also make voice calls and video calls. In our experience these can work very well regarding streaming and reception, and the great thing about it is that it will work on any type of smartphone.

For business owners, Facebook Messenger is a must have app. Your Facebook customers can chat with you instantly, either by messaging or by call. Facebook Messenger enables you to be completely available to your customers without being disruptive in the same way as a Skype call. In addition, your Facebook customers can contact you directly via your sales page.Telecommunication apps are constantly evolving. (Just see our list of censor apps to keep kids safe!) There is not one telecommunication app to fit all situations and to reach all users. Therefore, your only real option is to download the ones that suit your lifestyle best.
